Because connection is key, we are delighted to be able to embed the MakerCube Conference with inspiring speakers from the maker scene into the Waterkant Festival. Digital manufacturing technologies and innovations with this year's focus on robotics will be experienced within the framework of lectures, exhibitions and workshops. The central question will be:
How can robots specifically help with production automation and take over flexible simple tasks?
Admission to the MakerCube Conference is included in regular tickets.
Thought leaders and doers invite you to dive into new worlds - from collaborative robot arms to ultra-fast delta robots and simple gantry solutions, they show how robotics-based production topics can be rethought.
Robots have long since become an important part of industry. They have the potential to upgrade, simplify or groundbreakingly change existing processes and productions. The exhibition shows various robotic solutions and applications.
Implementing parametric designs with a hand-guided digital router or designing individual circuit boards with open source software and soldering them with reflow technology - we show how formerly complex processes can be professionally produced with new technology and free software. The clear presentation of the technologies encourages the implementation of the possibilities in one's own company.
The MakerCube Conference is hosted by the opencampus.sh initiative MakerCube.sh. Companies, crafts, start-ups, universities and trainees will be shown possibilities of digital production techniques and innovation potentials. The devices used in the process are available on a mobile basis in Schleswig-Holstein. This is made possible by funding from the Schleswig-Holstein state program for the economy and cofinancing from the European Regional Development Fund.
