Germany has an innovation problem: Excellent scientific findings are too rarely translated into marketable products, business models, or social solutions. Yet these very ideas could help tackle the key challenges of our time – from climate change to healthcare. The "Sciences Ventures Track" at the Waterkant Festival 2025 aims to change that.

The Science Ventures Track is aimed at doctoral students, postdocs, and professors from all disciplines who are interested in further developing their research from an entrepreneurial or socially impactful perspective.

Whether you're just starting out, have already developed a prototype, or even founded a company, we have a variety of options in the Science Ventures Track that are tailored to your level of maturity.
In addition, you can be inspired by the diverse sessions on the waterfront according to your individual preferences.

All sessions in the Science Ventures Track will be held in English. The kickoff is on Thursday, June 19, at 3:00 PM.
